Patients enrolled in the Congenital Upper Limb Differences (CoULD) registry were assessed using the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS). The PROMIS scores for Pain Interference, Peer Relations, Anxiety, Depression, and Upper Extremity (UE) function were obtained for all patients 5 years and older at initial presentation. Social deprivation was determined by the Area Deprivation Index (ADI); the index ranges from 0 to 100 with higher scores being the most deprived. The PROMIS scores were correlated with the ADI for all patients.

A retrospective analysis on patients aged 89 and older treated between 2008 and 2019at our certified breast center. The aim was to analyze clinical characteristics, decision-making, treatment, outcomes and open questions regarding this subpopulation for which there is a lack of guidelines.
58 patients included. Tumor characteristics were analyzed, 85% patients underwent surgery of which 44% had a mastectomy. The median follow-up and overall survival were 20 and 76 months, respectively.The median survival of metastatic and non-metastatic patients were 14 and 50 months, respectively. Most patients did not receive any adjuvant treatment and among these 14% had a relapse.

A combination of δ13C, δ15N, δ2H and δ18O values and partial least squares discrimination analysis and support vector machine (SVM) methods were used for the first time to assess farming methods and determine the origin of vegetables from Shanghai city, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces. The results showed that 65.8% of Shanghai vegetables, 38.2% of Anhui vegetables and 23.6% of Zhejiang vegetables appeared to be grown using green or organic farming methods. The optimal discriminant model was obtained using SVM with a predictive accuracy of 100% for Shanghai vegetables. Zhejiang vegetables had a predictive accuracy of 91.7%, while it was difficult to distinguish Anhui vegetables from Shanghai or Zhejiang vegetables. Therefore, this study provided a useful method to identify vegetable farming methods and discriminate vegetables from Shanghai and Zhejiang.Although aged fragrance is the most outstanding quality characteristic of dark tea, its formation still is not much clear. Thus, the volatiles of Qingzhuan tea (QZT) during the whole post-fermentation process were investigated at an industrial scale. The results showed that most of volatiles increased during pile-fermentation of QZT and weakened during aging storage, but some new volatiles were produced through aging storage. Hexanal, (E)-2-hexenal, (E)-2-decenal, 2,6,6-trimethyl-1-cyclohexene-1-carboxaldehyde, heptanal, (E)-2-octenal, (R)-5,6,7,7a-tetrahydro-4,4,7a-trimethyl-2(4H)-benzofuranone, ionone, 2-heptanone, 3-ethyl-4-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2,5-dione, (R,S)-5-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hepten-2-one, cis-5-ethenyltetrahydro-5-trimethyl-2-furanmethanol, and linalool generated by pile-fermentation should be the basic volatiles of aged fragrance in QZT, and 4-(2,4,4-trimethyl-cyclohexa-1,5-dienyl)-but-3-en-2-one, 6-methyl-5-heptene-2-one, safranal, guaiene, trans-2-(2-propynyloxy)-cyclohexanol, nonanal, and 4-(2,6,6-trimethyl-1-cyclohexen-1-yl)-2-butanone formed during aging storage should be the transformed volatiles of aged fragrance in QZT, which together constitute the characteristic components of aged fragrance. Notably, 4-(2,6,6-trimethyl-1-cyclohexen-1-yl)-2-butanone, 6-methyl-5-heptene-2-one, and safranal were selected as the key volatiles of QZT. Here, we report for the first time a method that utilizes soluble starch biopolymer as a functionalizing and reducing agent for the preparation of starch-reduced graphene oxide (SRGO), whereby polyiodide binds to the helical structures of amylose units of the starch (chromophore) to form a SRGO-polyiodide nanocomposite (SRGO-PI NC). UV-visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive spectroscopy confirmed the presence of polyiodide in SRGO. SRGO-PI NC exhibited good antibacterial activities against pathogenic Gram-negative (Escherichia coli) and Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus) microbes with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) values (as determined by a broth-dilution method) of 2.5 and 5 mg/ml, respectively, for both E. coli and S. aureus.
